About me – Sara (Artist)
Hello! I’m an artist based in Kent, England. I like painting and drawing a variety of subjects but animals are definitely my passion in art and life is well.
I attend stalls regularly where I exhibit and sell my work. Please feel free to come to any of these and have a look at my work and a chat.
I started to draw properly when I was around 11 years old. I was obsessed with anime at the time and loved to draw my favourite characters. Anime, manga and Japanese culture still hold a special place in my heart.
I’m not so good at writing about myself so here’s a list of some of my favourite things:
Hobby: Art funnily enough! But journalling is also fun.
Colour: Baby Pink
Animal: It’s too hard, as so many are awesome! But cats are definitely up there as I have two of my own.
Friday night activity: Creating something or snuggled on the sofa with the cats and a geeky programme or game
Way to spend a weekend: Exploring the outdoors and looking for wildlife!
Time of day: Mornings as they feel positive and I generally look forward to the day ahead.
Season: Summer – I love the warmth and the long sunny days.
Holidays: I went on a touring holiday around the Balkans and found this cave full of bats in Bulgaria. It was epic!
Board Game: Pokemon Battle Arena
Video Game: Any of the Pokemon ones are good but Crystal was my favourite as a child. Also the Cat Quest games are really good!
Favourite Childhood memory: Drawing manga badly from my No Need for Tenchi manga books!
Childhood toy: A white rabbit I called Snowflake. Or Snowball?

Musician: Katie Melua
Movie: It changes but I recently really enjoyed Dungeons and Dragons.
Actor: Karen Gillan
Ice cream flavour: Maltese’s but no-one seems to sell it anymore! Otherwise anything caramel or honeycomb is always a hit.

Hi there! I’m Michael, and I handle the technical side of Dinky Drawings, including the website, product photography, and printing of artwork. I’m a tech enthusiast who loves video games, coding, and anything gadget-related. I also have a passion for photography and filmmaking, specializing in live music, cosplay, and roller derby photography.

Colour: Purple
Animal: Cats! But I like most animals.
Friday night activity: Going to a gig, a nice meal out, or relaxing at home with my cats.
Way to spend a weekend: Attending a Comic Con, going on adventures or helping running the stall at craft fairs.
Time of day: Evenings, I’m definitely not a morning person!
Season: Summer – I love warm sunny weather and music festival season, I’m a Glastonbury veteran!
Holidays: Spent two weeks touring Japan in 2024, it was amazing! I can’t wait to go back.
Board Game: Pokemon TGC Battle Arena , and Monopoly!
Video Game: Love the Final Fantasy games, especially X, VII Remake and XV.
Favourite Childhood memory: Learning to code in basic on the Commodore Plus/4
Childhood toy: Transformers and Lego.
Music: I love so much music it’s hard to pick just one. Nerina Pallot, Kate Nash, and The Prodigy are all favourites. I also love KPop and Jpop!
Movie: Avengers Endgame, also loved Puss in Boots The Last Wish
