Today I’m going to write about how we make sublimation t-shirts. It’s been and up and down process but now we’ve got the hang of it, its a lot of fun! First we start with our t-shirt. I use dyesublimationsupplies for ours and it’s always been very reliable. The t-shirts come in a wide range… Continue reading “T-Shirt Sublimation”

LFCC Thoughts
So I guess my first London con with LFCC didn’t quite go as well as hoped. I think it’s important to show both sides of our little arty business in this era of social media perfection. Sure, sometimes things go AMAZING! And other times… not so great. We arranged parking near the venue which was… Continue reading “LFCC Thoughts”
Sequin Buff Tailed Bumblebee
Inspiration I was on holiday with my dad browsing the Toys and Games store in Keswick where I stumbled across this sequin art piece which I thought looked really cool! Inspired I thought I’d try my own. Researching I found that the kit used sequins (obviously 😂), sequin pins, a polystyrene frame and a piece… Continue reading “Sequin Buff Tailed Bumblebee”
Working with Brusho
Brusho is something that was definitely more challenging than I thought it would be! I remember mum getting really excited about using this years ago and wanted to try it. Then last year a friend gifted some to me for Christmas – it was meant to be. Initial Problems Then I got started. My big… Continue reading “Working with Brusho”

Still life pastel flowers
I attend a weekly art group at the Canterbury Umbrella Centre and this week the teacher brought in real flowers for us to draw and paint with pastels. Canterbury Umbrella Centre is a local charity in my area that offers services for the community. It’s vital for those struggling with disabilities, mental health and loneliness. First… Continue reading “Still life pastel flowers”
French bulldog and crocus
I started off with a piece of board which I coated with a coat of gesso. I wouldn’t normally use gesso for acrylic paint but the board was dirty so I thought it’d be good to put a base coat down so I could clearly see my linework when it was down. Had to wait… Continue reading “French bulldog and crocus”

Dreamland Craft Fair
I had great fun at the Dreamland Craft Fair! It was lovely to meet so many different people and talk Pokémon, Totoro and art in general. My top sellers were my “watchful cat” prints, my “DJ Ian” tote bag (named after my own cat who loves to have a dab at my records!) and my… Continue reading “Dreamland Craft Fair”
